Who Can Participate
Individuals, organizations, businesses, and city, county, state, and federal agencies can adopt sections of State highway roadside. Participants may perform the work themselves or hire a service contractor to perform the work on their behalf.
Subject to Caltrans approval, minors aged 16 and older, may participate provided that they are adequately supervised.
Eligibility shall not be denied on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, age, political affiliation, ancestry, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, or medical condition (unless the disability or medical condition would affect the participant’s or public’s safety).
